Speedlimit. 403 posts · Joined 2015. #5 · Jul 24, 2017. One way to disable BMS is to unplug LIN bus at generator. Generator then reverts to voltage regulation determined by a microcontroller chip. This chip is embedded in the generator. Default regulation is 13.8v. Easy to check with DVM.

Do this six times in a maximum of 10 seconds.You can disable the internal monitoring there should be a switch on the B pillar by the drivers door. You need to push it just before you get out an lock the car. To test the door lock modules, sit in the car and use the centrl locking button on the drivers door to lock the car. Any doors with iffy door modules will lock and then unlock again. C.
