In approximately ONE YEAR, in December 2021, online services for legacy Halo Xbox 360 titles will be discontinued. Owners of these titles will still be able to play these games indefinitely, however, certain online features and experiences, particularly online matchmaking, will be limited or disabled.
Safest way to buy it would be on the microsoft website. Sign into the desired account and just buy the dlc on the browser and it should downloading on your Xbox one. So look at the Xbox store on your Xbox and see if you can buy the DLC. You might be able to look at it but you can’t purchase it. Yes. Select the Downloads link under your profile in the dashboard. The downloads should show up as pending for your xbox. Select the Download All link and wait. These steps were for a refurbished Xbox 360 Elite but since they all run the same dashboard it should work. It'll download everything to your internal hdd for you. You can also connect your NNID to your Nintendo Account and add funds through the Switch. With your NNID connected to your Switch, you will be given the option to merge your eshop funds from both. So now any funds you add on the WiiU, 3DS, or Switch will appear across all 3 systems and be able to be used to buy software on all 3 systems, even Have you tried buying the DLC from the Xbox 360 marketplace online?
